Skin Care Routine

Hello ladies and guys!

If you are currently struggling with your skin then you have stopped at the right place. I would classify my skin as Normal-dry, but more on the dry side. However, since I have started this skin care routine I have saw a complete difference in the texture, appearance, and feel. Of course my routine is not going to accommodate everyone’s skin considering we are all different. However, I can offer you tips and show you the products I use and why you need to use them.

*I am in no way shape or form a doctor, nor do I claim to be. I would recommend whatever products you use on your face/body consult with your dermatologist or try a patch test on yourself. If you see any irritation discontinue use of products.

Step 1: Remove makeup

step one

I use these Equate Original Clean wipes. I buy these at Walmart.

You can buy them here: Equate-Beauty Towelettes

These are so great for the price. Just start by removing all of your makeup.

Step 2: Micellar Cleansing Water

step 2

You are probably asking, “Wait, didn’t we just remove our makeup? Why do I have to remove it again?” It’s true we did “remove our makeup” but did we really remove it all? This product helps remove all dirt, makeup, and other nasty debris harboring your face and pores. While removing all of the dirt it also replenishes it at the same time! This product is great for ALL skin types.

You can buy it here: Garnier SkinActive

I apply this with cotton rounds, one or two does the trick. You will be surprised with how much this product pulls off of your face. You can thank me later.

Step 3: Exfoliate!

step 3

You can buy this here: St. Ives Exfoliating

Everyone needs to exfoliate. By exfoliating you are removing all dead cells on the outermost layer of your skin that is naturally shed. By doing this step you are boosting the speed in shedding it. After this step you will notice softer, smoother texture. However, many exfoliaters contain Alcohol which is harsh and drying to the skin. Which brings us to our next step. 🙂

*Use this only once or twice a week

Step 4: Toner

step 4

A toner is a liquid skincare product designed to rebalance your skin after cleansing. It basicially restores your pH level since the alcohol stripped it. Depending upon your skin type you will need to look at certain toners that contain active ingredients. For example, my face is more dry. I would want to look for Toners that have Vitemin E.

You can buy this here: L’Oreal-Toner

Step 5: Repairing

step 5.png

This product is pricey. However, you get what you pay for. Josie Maran products are the top of the line. All of her ingredients are 100% pure. Now you are probably saying, “Honey, I have oily skin there is no way I am putting extra oil on my face.” But I promise you will need this. This is good for oily, dry, and sensitive. It is perfect for dryness, fine lines and wrinkles, and the loss of elasticity. A little bit goes a LONG way. Like only use the size of a dime on your face. Not only can you use it on your face but it works great to repair dry hair (add to ends only) and for your cuticles.

You can buy this here: Argan oil

Step 6: Hydration Serum

step 6

Another insane and amazing product from Josie Maran. This is hydrating, light weight that repairs skin for an instant glow. I would recommend this to only someone who has dry and sensitive. If you have oily skin you may want to stop at step 5.

You can buy this here: Milk

I hope you enjoyed checking out my skin care routine! Please comment and tell me you if you use any of these products or you have other products that you love that work just as well. I love trying new stuff and changing my routine. I hope everyone has a great day or night where ever you may be.

xoxo – Boho, Blonde, and Beauty
